Keto Chow is complete nutrition for Nutritional Ketosis. It's a drink mix that quickly and easily makes a complete keto meal. It's not meant to replace your bacon and steak. Rather, it's targeted to replace the mundane meals; running to a meeting, breakfast in the car, stuck in class, etc... By design, Keto Chow provides 1/3 of your daily needs for electrolytes, vitamins, protein and more. The aim is that you could replace all your meals without ill effect if you are so inclined, but most users replace 1-2 meals a day and have a fantastic keto meal with family or friends for the 3rd. It's also quite tasty with a range of great flavors. You combine the powdered mix with your own personal amount of heavy cream to get the calories you want, anywhere from 600 calories a day up to 4000 if you really want to! Many liken the taste and texture to melted ice cream or a milkshake. The full, flavored mixture of Keto Chow does contain whey protein and sucralose; if those are a concern for you there's also a "Base Powder" option that has everything except the flavor/protein/sweetener. Want easy, complete nutrition but you want to use blueberry flavored egg white protein sweetened with stevia? Go for it! General information about Keto Chow (what it is, how to use it and more) can be found on the Keto Chow Info page.

This is a single meal "sample", Perfect for making one shake. You'll need to provide Heavy Cream and some fish oil of your choosing, there's more info on the Preparation Instructions page.

Buy 12, 40, or 70 (of any flavor combination) and save an extra 5% (it automatically changes the price). You have to buy EXACTLY 12, 40, or 70 to get the discount, any higher or lower and it will not change the price. Please note that you won't see a "bulk discount 5% off" notice or anything of the kind, you'll just see the price for each item go down if you change the total quantity of weeks to exactly 12, 40, or 70.

Keto Chow 2.0 Variety Pack: Not for me

Posted by JML on Feb 20th 2018

Note: Salt is an essential component of a keto diet and the saltiness of Keto Chow is reduced significantly if you let it sit overnight - end note.

I've been a long-time Soylent user and had been hoping to use Keto Chow to ease my transition to keto from a normal full-spectrum diet.

It did that much so I can't fairly mark it with the worst score, but god if it wasn't awful.

Vanilla and Chocolate were the only fairly palatable flavors, with Vanilla tasting more like white chocolate than actual vanilla but both being pretty balanced compared to the rest. Still, there are none which I would say I actively desire or would even consider buying again.

The rest? Ugh. A hint of the label flavor utterly overwhelmed by whey protein and salt. Of these Salted Caramel was by far the worst, reminiscent of another high-protein high-salt fluid some of the 18+ users might be familiar with.

An element which may be missing from the flavor profiles and so allowing the salt to be too forward and the isolated protein too overwhelming is a near-absence of bitterness. Salt increases perception of sweetness, yes, but it also decreases perception of bitterness. More of that may help counter-balance the flavor profile in future versions. Addition of a slightly greater concentration of the natural/artificial flavoring compounds and an altered balance of sweet/salt/bitter would vastly improve the product.

Overall, it's a great concept and a helpful product, but the execution leaves me with much to be desired. I might try it again in another version or two to check on improvement, but even then I will probably only buy one envelope of chocolate and one of vanilla to gauge the level of improvement rather than spend so much money on so many disappointing flavors again.

    So Good

I've tried a few meal shakes over the years, and these are the best. The texture is great and they keep you full.

    Tasted way better than expected

Posted by Shane on Jan 30th 2018

I expected the typical chalky flavor that's common with any meal replacement powder. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got a flavors that were good with no chalky aftertaste. I prepared as instructed, making the shakes the night before and refrigerating overnight. Will be buying more.

    Awful taste

Posted by Jenna Lee Black on Jan 22nd 2018

This shake was thick but tasted I credibly watery. The flavor was like infant formula. I tried chocolate and vanilla. I used 1/2 c of heavy cream each time. I couldn't even drink them.

    Peanut Butter is the BOMB

First, great grab and go packaging when you are on the move. I will admit I've only sampled the peanut butter and regular chocolate BUT the peanut butter is amazing!

    Great taste

Posted by Jutta Heller on Jan 11th 2018

My husband and I first tried a few sample packs of selected flavors and settled on 2-3 that we really like (chocolate, salted caramel, and cookies & cream). We prepare these with 50-80 mL of heavy cream, then add the powder, then fill to 16 oz with water in a shaker bottle with a metal spiral ball. We prep this the night before and have for breakfast in the morning. So yummy!
